Anti-Bulling Initiative

Sherwood is going to implement a daily Anti-Bullying Lesson school-wide everyday. When students are being bullied and mistreated in school, learning cannot take place. That is why a decision has been made to address bullying each and everyday at Sherwood. Teachers are going to be asked to set aside fourty minutes per day to address bullying and to teach a character education lesson. PreK through Fifth Grade will engage in this lesson at 9:00 a.m. until 9:40 a.m. The middle school will end their day with a lesson in their homeroom. Sherwood will also implement the OLWEUS Anti-Bullying Program as well.
